At Cozy Corner, we care like family—because we are one. Founded by Ruaa Yassen, a mother of two and devoted caregiver, Cozy Corner is more than just a daycare. It’s a safe, loving environment shaped by the values of home, trust, and community.
This home-based daycare was built with the support of my husband and extended family, who all share in the mission of giving every child the best start in life. Here, your child will enjoy meaningful play, early learning experiences, and nurturing attention in a space designed to feel like home.

Backstory
Hi! I’m Ruaa Yassen, the proud founder of Cozy Corner, a family-run home daycare built on love, support, and a passion for early childhood care. I’m 31 years old and have lived in Washington for the past 11 years. I’m also a wife and a mom of two wonderful children who inspire me every single day one is 15 and my other is 13.
After gaining eight years of hands-on experience in early childhood care, I opened Cozy Corner in 2025 to turn my passion into a purpose. My amazing husband and family have been by my side from the beginning—helping me build this business and encouraging me every step of the way. I also have a certificate of early childhood education and working toward my degree in Early Childhood Education so I can continue learning and growing alongside the children I care for.
